Tobias Schrödel bekam mit zehn Jahren seinen ersten Computer geschenkt und brachte sich das Programmieren zunächst selbst bei. Heute ist der Fachinformatiker als IT-Experte im TV zu sehen (u.a. RTL stern TV) und ein international renommierter Referent zum Thema IT-Sicherheit. Als Autor gewann er mit seinem ersten Buch den getAbstract-Award für das Wirtschaftsbuch des Jahres 2011 und mit „It’s a nerd’s world“ den EMYS Jugend-Sachbuchpreis 08.2019. Er lebt mit seiner Familie in München.

Tobias Schrödel was given his first computer when he was ten, and initially taught himself how to program. Today, the IT specialist can be seen as an IT expert on TV (including RTL stern TV) and is an internationally renowned speaker on the subject of IT security. As an author, he won the getAbstract Award for Business Book of the Year 2011 with his first book and the EMYS Youth Non-Fiction Book Award in August 2019 with "It's a Nerd's World". He lives with his family in Munich.
